Anthony C. Piscopo, 51, a 12-year resident of Yelm, WA, died of multiple organ failure Thursday, August 19, 1999 at home.

Tony ws born August 2, 1948, to John and Katherine (Flynn) Piscopo in Scituate Massachusetts. He received an appointment to the Naval Academy in 1966 with the Class of 1970. He resigned from the Academy in October 1966 and graduated from Tufts University in 1970.

Mr. Piscopo served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1990. He retired from the Army having obtained the rank of Major.

He married Theresa (Terry) Tagoai. They later divorced, with Terry remaining in Yelm, WA.

He was employed as a teacher with Ranier High School. He greatly enjoyed both teaching and reading.

Mr. Piscopo is survived by his two sons, Michael and Christian Piscopo, both of Yelm, Washington.

A visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 26th at Saint Columban Catholic Church, Yelm. A Rosary will follow the visitation at 11:30 a.m., with the funeral beginning at noon.

Burial will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.

Arrangemts are by Mills and Mills Funeral Directors, Olympia.
